Pre-shipment Conformity Certification (PVoC)

Since February 1, 2012, goods exported to Tanzania need to be inspected before shipment in order to protect the local environment, ensure the conformity of products and protect the interests of local consumers. Importers can speed up customs clearance and reduce import costs and procedures in Tanzania by issuing corresponding conformity certificates (COC).

Tanzania PVoC Certification Process

1. Provide information such as invoices, inspection reports, etc.

2. Submit application and arrange inspection after approval.

3. Provide the final invoice list after the inspection is qualified, and importer CR NO arranges the draft.

4. Confirm the draft and issue the original certificate.
