The Government of Saudi Arabia recently issued the latest implementation requirements for the Saudi product safety plan project "SALEEM".

According to the relevant requirements, since April 1, 2018, products covered in Saudi SALEEM Technical Regulation list need to apply for the relevant customs clearance certificate in accordance with the new procedural requirements. At that time, NormalTCI Normo Inspection (tel: 13486111918) will replace the existing Saudi product conformity assessment project with the Saudi product safety plan project "SALEEM", and introduce the SABER online system platform as the acceptance window for customers to apply for electronic Certificate of Conformity (e-CoC).

Under the new management system, the products listed in the relevant Technical Regulation List should comply with the technical regulations specified by SASO. The products listed in the List will include the following two stages of product conformity assessment:

Stage 1: Evaluate the corresponding products according to the type of product evaluation plan specified by SASO, and issue the product certificate Product Certificate if it meets the requirements of NormalTCI Normal Test (tel: 13486111918).

Phase 2: After obtaining Product Certificate, the goods under each shipment of product certificate must be inspected before shipment, and the batch certificate Shipment Certificate {2} is issued. Shipment Certificate will replace the current CoC Certificate, which requires Shipment Certificate for each shipment.

The following are products currently covered under SASO/GSO Technical Regulations for your reference:

For products not covered under the SASO/GSO Technical Regulations, it is still necessary to follow the previous procedures and obtain a CoC clearance certificate for each batch of goods.
